Royal LePage is a leader in Canadian real estate celebrating its 100th year anniversary in 2013.

Founded by Albert LePage when he was just 26 years old.  He was a pioneer whose innovation and belief in customer service helped transform the real estate industry. He built a company based on professionalism, principled conduct and the higest moral and ethical standards.  And thos principles still guide use in everything we do.

We remain steadfastly and proudly Canadian. We have never forgotten our roots.

Today, Royal LePage has approximately 14,000 real estate agents and REALTORS® in more than 600 locations across Canada. Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about real estate and how to provide the best possible service for our clients. Since the mid-1990s, Royal LePage has more than tripled the size of its sales force and almost doubled its market share.  In 2012 we relaunched Royal LePage Commercial.  As part of the Royal LePage Network our Commercial Division will enhance the comercial experience through networking opporutnities and tools provided to out agents and the consumer.

Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention and education programs.

Because we believe in the importance of giving back to the community, Royal LePage is the only Canadian real estate company to have our own charitable foundation. All of the administrative costs of the Shelter Foundation are underwritten so that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to helping our cause.

Royal LePage real estate agents and their clients are working to create safer homes and safer communities by contributing more than $14 million since 1999 to help women and children across Canada. Through donating a portion of their commission on the purchase or sale of your property, our agents are helping bring hope and provide shelter for those who need it most.
Our brokers, agents and staff also provide volunteer time and in-kind goods, and hold special community events to help raise funds and awareness to end family violence for more than 30,000 women and children who take refuge in a shelter each year.  The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation has helped fund new shelters, create art therapy programs, develop job training initiatives, and cover the costs of crisis counseling nad therapy for more than 30,000 women in decreasing violence.

On a national level, our partnership with the ground-breaking Fourth R curriculum-based education program is now in more than 800 Canadian school classrooms, and studies report significant results in decreasing violence.

Together with our partners at the Canadian Women’s Foundation, we take a long-term view to prevention by annually funding innovative grassroots work in every province, including the following:

  • Programs that help women and their children rebuild their lives after violence
  • Violence prevention programs that outreach to youth
  • Support for children who have witnessed violence to help them heal and prevent them from becoming victims or abusers themselves

Locally, Royal LePage Key Realty has raised more than $1,000.00 for the local Women’s Interval Home and  provides clothing, non-parishable goods and other things for the Shelter.

Doug Bain opened Bain Real Estate in the early 1980’s.  A decade later he purchased the Coldwell Banker francise and ran an office with more than 40 agents.  In 1998 he left Coldwell Banker and joined the Royal LePage Network.  Royal LePage 1st Sarnia was later renamed Royal LePage Key Realty in 2004.  Today, Royal LePage Key Realty has more than 46 agents and offices in Sarnia, Petrolia and Forest.

Technology is Doug’s passion, a passion he shares with his it vitural tours, colour copiers, coaching and database management programs and the latest an in-house recording studio with mixing board to make quality videos about your home.  These tools paired with those of Royal LePage Real Estate Services give our agents the edge when marketing your home.
